I work with children and adolescents who are navigating the complexities of growing up and learning to understand themselves. I am especially passionate about supporting youth from multicultural, immigrant, and bilingual families who may be experiencing identity questions, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, school-related stress, or difficulty balancing cultural expectations at home and within their community.
My approach is developmentally informed and culturally responsive, grounded in evidence-based practices and an understanding of how cultural context, family systems, and identity development influence emotional and behavioral well-being. I strive to create a space where children and teens feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued, allowing them to safely explore big emotions, cultural transitions, and questions about who they are.
I approach each child with empathy, patience, and respect, taking time to listen, reflect, and validate both the child’s experiences and the family’s perspective. My work is collaborative and affirming, with a focus on building trust, fostering emotional resilience, and meeting each child where they are in their developmental journey.
