I believe that building empathy begins with building relationships. At the core of my work is a commitment to validating each client’s experience and providing unwavering support, especially for children navigating difficult emotional terrain. I understand that change is not instantaneous—it is a process that unfolds with time, support, and compassion. I often remind my clients that the heaviest burdens in life are not meant to be carried alone, but with grace and connection to others.

My clinical background includes working with a wide range of challenges, with a particular focus on supporting military families and advocating for children within school systems. I have extensive experience navigating special education services, including IEPs and 504 plans, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that children receive the support they need both emotionally and academically. Additionally, I provide care for children coping with terminal illness, grief and loss, self-harming behaviors, and childhood sexual abuse. I am skilled in developing safety plans and holding space for complex trauma with sensitivity and care.

As clients progress in therapy and begin to meet their goals, I work collaboratively to discuss a thoughtful and supported conclusion to services, while emphasizing that therapy can be a lifelong tool. Clients are always welcome to return as needed, knowing that the door to healing and growth remains open.
