I am accepting new clients!
I build empathy by establishing a relationship with clients first. You validate a child’s experience, and be unwavering in your support to them. I wish all clients knew that change is a process. The heaviest things in life are meant to be carried with support and grace from other humans.
I can help people with a variety of challenges. I am comfortable with working with military families. I excel advocating for children in the school, sitting with things such as special education, plans or 504. I also have experience with working with children with terminal illnesses, grief and loss, self-harming, safety plans, and childhood sexual abuse. When a client has met all of their goals, I begin to discuss a plan to wrap up therapy in the next few sessions. I also let them know that therapy can be a lifelong process, so if they feel the need, they can always re-enter therapy.
