I am accepting new clients!
As a social worker dedicated to supporting children and teenagers with mental health challenges, I build empathy by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I actively listen to their stories, validate their feelings, and use compassionate, non-stigmatizing language to normalize their experiences and reduce isolation. By highlighting their strengths and resilience, I reinforce their ability to overcome challenges.
To invite potential clients to reach out, I make myself accessible and approachable by providing clear information about my services, including individual and group therapy sessions focused on CBT and DBT. I allow clients to drive the sessions and focus on their individual needs, reassuring them that their inquiries will be met with confidentiality, respect, and prompt attention. I emphasize that seeking help is a sign of strength and courage and that it is okay to ask for support.
My goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where children and teenagers feel comfortable taking the first step towards seeking help, knowing they will be met with empathy, understanding, and professional support. By normalizing their feelings and ensuring they know they are not alone in their struggles, I help reduce their sense of isolation and foster growth.
