INTERN

I am a counseling intern pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. Before beginning my counseling career, I spent more than 24 years as a special education teacher, educational therapist, and IEP facilitator, supporting children, adolescents, and families.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and accepted so they can better understand themselves and move toward the life they want to build. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. It's okay to feel uncertain, overwhelmed, scared, or vulnerable. Asking for help is an act of courage. My hope is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you, and create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself.
