I work with individuals who have experienced difficult or traumatic events and are seeking to understand how those experiences continue to affect their lives today. Many of the clients I support struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trust challenges, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. They may not always have the words for what they’re feeling, but they know something isn’t working the way they want it to. My role is to provide a safe, steady, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel supported as they begin to heal.
My developing specialty is trauma-informed care, with a focus on helping clients understand how past experiences can influence emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I support clients by teaching grounding and coping skills that help them feel more regulated and in control of their bodies and thoughts. Together, we build awareness around emotional patterns and triggers so clients can respond to life’s challenges in healthier and more empowering ways. As trust develops, we work at a pace that feels manageable and respectful, allowing clients to process their experiences when they feel ready.
I approach my work with warmth, patience, and compassion, taking time to truly listen and understand each client’s story from their perspective. I strive to create an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued—especially those who may not be used to feeling safe or understood. My approach is relational and collaborative, meeting clients exactly where they are and helping make the first steps into counseling feel less intimidating. I believe healing happens in connection, and my goal is to walk alongside clients as they build stability, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with confidence and hope.
