Psychology Today Profile

I’m dedicated to building rapport and trust with my clients by immersing myself in their world—discovering what they enjoy, how they spend their time, and what brings them joy and peace. Whether it’s playing a game like Yugioh to understand how a client handles adversity or engaging in creative activities like coloring to break down barriers, I strive to meet my clients where they are. I offer a blend of cognitive-behavioral, somatic (body), and other therapeutic tools to help ease the nervous system.

I specialize in addressing challenges related to relationships, social issues, mood, anxiety, and trauma. I believe that therapy is complete when my clients' functioning is restored, and their goals are achieved. My ideal client is a student who may have experienced trauma and its wide-ranging effects but remains motivated to learn and grow. These clients often face issues like trust, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and overall dysregulation. They need a consistent, compassionate, and gentle but direct therapist who can provide the coping skills necessary for managing emotional dysregulation and daily stress. My goal is to guide my clients from merely surviving to thriving, emphasizing that trauma is not a life sentence but an experience that can lead to post-traumatic growth.
